Aurélien Pouzet-Robert , oboe
Born in 1977 in Basque Country, he started his studies with his grand father at 7, playing the violin.
From the age of 13, he studied the oboe with Jacky Morel and then joined the CNSM of Lyon in modern and baroque oboes, and CNSMD of Paris in chamber music.
In 2001 he obtains international distinctions at the First Henri Tomasi International Wind Quintet Competition (Marseille) and at the Sony Music Oboe Competition in Karuizawa, Japan, in 2006 (semi-finalist).
Member of several Orchestras during and after his studies (French Youth Orchestra, Verbier Festival Youth Orchestra, Capitole de Toulouse, Monte Carlo Philhamonic...) he plays all over european most famous halls with renamed conductors (Levine, Temirkanov, Metha, Jäarvi, Jordan, Kreizberg...)
In 2000, he became Oboe co-soloist at Orchestre Symphonique et Lyrique de Nancy;
Since, he performed with numerous chamber ensembles: Gustatori Wind Quintet, Ensemble Ultim'Asonata...
He began conducting orchestras in 2014 with Gradus Ad Musicam Orchestra in Nancy.
